We are proud to present NordicLA’s Creative Industry Events, specially tailored for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Creative Industries who are looking at seizing the opportunities in international markets

Join us for a day of inspiration, know-how and network, where you will hear from Danish and International successful entrepreneurs, covering the topics of internationalization, finance and growth, plus an added element of sustainability.

You will also have an opportunity to share your story and have your say in shaping the support around creative companies in the future.

The sessions are structured in a conversation style, where a moderator and two creative superstars and experts, share their experience and debate the topic by putting forward different perspectives.

Access to this event is free of charge.


Christian Stadil – Owner of Thornico conglomerate investing in a wide range of sectors. Member of board of directors, advisory board, co-founder and seed investor in many different companies as seen in the Danish version of Dragon's Den/ Shark Tank.

Sacha Tueni - Passionate angel investor and advisor to startups and corporations, focusing in the areas of VR, AR, 360 Media and Telco - in US, Japan, Europe and as far reaching as Pakistan.

Erik Balck Sørensen - Investment Director at VF Venture, Co-founder and Executive manager of,, and Experienced Business Executive and board member, experienced dealmaker all over the world, entrepreneur business advisor and angel for start-ups.

Sarah Heering – Media entrepreneur and fashion tech startup founder. Leading a full service media agency as well as the first and only mobile/social nail design system as a breakout innovation in the custom beauty/fashion vertical.

Kristian Byrge - founder and creative director of Scandinavian interior brand Muuto and previously involved in the launching of Noma.

Sissel Hansen - young, ambitious entrepreneur, founder of Startup Guide with published guidebooks in over 20 cities across Europe, North America, Asia and the middle east.

Jakob Jønck – Co-founder and CEO of Simple Feast Tackling climate change and lifestyle diseases through plants first food.

Liza Chong - CEO at INDEX: Design to Improve Life and member of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and commerce.


Ane Cortzen - TV personality, architect, graphic designer, and the host of several Danish TV Series as well as former Cultural Director for Kähler.

Kristian Riis - Grammy winning musician in the Danish band Nephew. Kristian has lived and recorded albums in Los Angeles for a long time and is founder, partner and investor in multiple companies.

Be inspired by the dialogue between an international successful entrepreneur and a Danish successful entrepreneur in international markets.

Follow the talk on utilizing sources of finance and how they can be used to reach growth and success abroad.

  • Session 4 - Home grown to the world

Hear the story of how Danish companies have exported their creative concepts successfully.

  • Session 5 - Sustainability in Creative Industries

Bring sustainability onto your creative concept by hearing the dialogue between 2 creatively sustainable super stars.

  • Session 6 – Insights of Heartland

Take a look on how the festival operates, the creativity behind it and immerse in the spirit of Heartland.

IMPORTANT: In case of excessive interest, NoridcLA will apply a selection criterion to determine the final list of participants in the event. Signing up collects your interest, but does not guarantee participation. You will receive a notification of our decision and confirmation of your participation no later than the 24th of May 2019 at 17:00.

The Small Print

Creative Industries refers to the sectors of: Film & TV, Publishing, Advertising, marketing and public relations, Fashion and textiles, Music, Visual arts, Performing arts, Digital industries, Design, Architecture, Crafts, Museums, galleries, libraries and archives and other related sectors

Due to limited capacity NLA Industry Events can only invite one (1) person per company and one (1) access to Heartland Festival limited to the 31st of May 2019.  

IMPORTANT: In case of excessive interest, NLA will apply a selection criterion to determine the final list of participants in the event. You will receive a notification of our decision and confirmation of your participation no later than the 26th of May 2019 at 17:00.

NLA will provide a light breakfast, tea, coffee and lunch during the day. However, accommodation and transportation costs are at attendees’ own expense

Due to the nature of the events and the number of international guests, the talks will be held in English. You will have the possibility to have your say and ask questions in Danish if you prefer it so.
